Just as the individual relies on the A.A. group for help in his or her personal recovery, so do the A.A. groups, rely on the General Service Conference in maintaining the unity and strength of our fellowship. The objective of the Staten Island General Service (S.I.G.S.) Website shall be:
- To carry the A.A. message to the suffering alcoholic, to professionals, the general public and to members of the fellowship;
- To serve as a communications tool within the S.I.G.S. area by providing information about area activities and events;
- To increase general service participation within the fellowship in the Staten Island area, by providing information about A.A. service opportunities below the group level and allow members the opportunity to volunteer for general service commitments in the S.I.G.S. area.
